Leadership within community events is essential for driving public health initiatives, bridging the gap between scientific recommendations and direct community engagement as directed by achieving competency in Essential II.
Leadership within volunteerism and activism remains essential for driving health initiatives and strengthening communities. I am active in chapters of Girl Scouts of America (Greater Los Angeles), Planned Parenthood, Red Cross Disaster health services and participate in community running events supporting regional activities.
